As of 6/5/07 there is a new, huge old growth log in the middle of Lower Zig-Zag Rapid on the Green Truss section of the White Salmon River. It sounds like a pretty sketchy line to make it through and a portage around this is near impossible. Approach zig-zag and the Truss, for now, with extreme caution! This is a popular run for the locals, but Do Not drop into Lower Zig Zag blind right now!
